1. Be as descriptive as you can in the initial post because you can use the forum search to find games. Who's in the game, civs, who won-lost etc.

2. Games will be deleted from time to time to reclaim space. Usually they will remain for several months but when a game has gotten to be 6 month old it's likely that no one cares about it anymore.

To attach a file, either click on New Topic or Reply to Topic, then in the composition window, hit the attachment button, it's gray with a paper clip icon. The rest is pretty obvious.

If you make it a .ZIP file then it will be a little smaller and the site will accept it.

It will not accept a .txt, .exe, .bat, and pretty much anything else.

The way I do it is manual but works everytime.

This part is one-time setup
---------------------------

* Click on My Files (up top left of the site)
* If you don't have a Files category, create one by clicking Add Category.
* Make sure the status shows the hand-holding-folder icon, otherwise, click on it until it does. Once you're setup, the My Files page should look like this:

----------------------------------

* Click on Files
* At the bottom of the new page, click on Upload File. A new browser window will open.

* Browse to the file and click the Upload button. When done, you can close the new window.

* Now click on the status icon for the file until it shows the hand-holding-folder icon. By default the uploaded file is not shared and the icon shows...it's like a sun or mine.

Now you can post the link to the game. It'll look like this:

http://www.dbdclan.net/forum/uploaded/dbd_cuehara/Slam2000.jpg

Just change the url, replacing my username with yours and the file name with your file, like so

http://www.dbdclan.net/forum/uploaded/dbd_reckless/MyGame.zip

It's always a good idea that your file names only use letters/numbers with no spaces, underscores, etc. Otherwise you need to put in character codes like %20 for spaces.

Also, you need to zip your files unless they are images. It's alot easier than it looks.
