It could cost as little as $5 - $10 dollars for the year if registered at GoDaddy.

I see that Kansasclan.com has been registered. Now the domain needs to be pointed at the Chrystal Tech name servers.

No I did not. If it expired, and it appears it did, then it got bought by a holding company it seems. They like to hold onto these and charge to get it back.

What if we registered, kansas_GC.com, or KansasGC.com, or Kansas_Gaming_Clan or something else? THen we set it to auto renew for 7.95 per year and go about our business.

it was 8.99/yr for the domain and 9.99/yr for private registratrion on GoDaddy.

I bought one year and set it to auto renew, so we wont have this issue again. Maybe next year a $20 spot will cover it. If you wanted to send it sooner, I will just go ahead and prepurchase next year.
